Why we exist
Most slot provider review sites were built as thin fronts for affiliate revenue. Provider scores are inflated, negative findings are buried, and the recommended casino button appears regardless of quality. We built the tool Nigerian slot players actually needed — one built on data, not deals.
SpinMirage started as a spreadsheet maintained by Marcus Holt while working in gaming compliance consulting. It became a database, and the database became a tool worth sharing publicly. We launched in 2022 focused on the Nigerian market, where quality independent information was hardest to find.

How we score providers
Every provider review is built on 12 criteria, each independently weighted. The final Trust Score is a weighted average expressed as a decimal out of 10.

The team
8 years in gaming compliance and provider analysis. Former consultant to two European regulators. BSc Mathematics, University of Edinburgh.
Journalist covering consumer finance and iGaming regulation. Based in Stockholm. Writes explainers, beginner guides, and responsible gambling content.
Maintains the RTP database, scoring engine, and site architecture. Responsible for weekly data refreshes and audit integration pipelines.
Tests each casino end-to-end including NGN deposit flows, KYC, gameplay, and withdrawals. Writes casino reviews for the Nigerian market.
